A friend of Paul Morrish wrote these words after Paul's tragic death in a motorbike accident
From the earth a white rose came, a rose that loved to climb
a rose that matched the mood of any time, a rose by any name.
One that no man could hold, but all could know
he searched for light and space to learn and grow, a rose by any name.
A flower broken can teach us all of beauty and the need to be.....
Winter fell and stopped the game, the rose frozen through
but hearts are warm now where the cold winds blew,
to have known a rose by any name.
