Whisper (1992) We treat her, like we don't care take for granted that she's always there we use her, then fly away we take her strengths, we leave her dying Just the whisper of her lonely voice reminding every child they have the choice she taught us to draw the line no going back for us in 1999 We hear her as she whispers loud She waits for us patient & proud Her blown seeds are tears she bleeds She's calling us, she's calling us home We claim her when we're far away exiled we have a lot to say She can't hear us, we're not home unimpressed by our nostalgic poetry Just the whisper of her lonely voice....
