Me & The Grand Canyon & a touch of madness

Louise ( 1991 ) There's a breeze blowin' through our lives as the child comes of age a warm wind we know we can't hold. To the cool face of these changing times she brings summer air, a home fire never cold But there's a dream waking in her heart that will not sleep again we wish well this spirit that grows. Until we can be together, take care of your life - promise once, before you go Louise, don't listen to all those cautious voices who'd deny you paths to uncharted places far as you can see You're out on the crossroads seeking all of life's directions The dreams are as real as only you can make them be There's a time hanging in our hearts when we would guide her hand years when the seasons rolled slow There's a safe place in her future she knows where to run - there's a time to let her go
