He Is The One ( 1999 ) Ran through her dreams last night, as she does sometimes beyond the comfort of the day She saw him just ahead, before she tumbled down Suddenly she is awake, dismissing phantoms runs to find him in the dark pulls the curtain wide and she can feel the spark He turns his head and he is smiling and she knows He is the one who will be there, when all the world just doesn't care He is the one who knows the way - can turn her night back into day She's learned so many things and tasted nothing waits like the swallow on the wire puts by her picture books - they can't feed her desire Outside the gate she turns and tears are rolling She's never felt this kind of pain She hopes there'll be a time they can come home again
